Imperial Oil temporarily shuts down pipeline to Winnipeg for three-month repair due to integrity concerns.

Imperial Oil has temporarily shut down a pipeline that supplies gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel to Winnipeg and the surrounding area for repairs, following proactive pipeline inspections that identified integrity concerns. The line, which runs between Gretna, Manitoba, at the U.S. border, and Winnipeg, will be out of service for approximately three months as a result of the necessary repairs. The section of pipeline that required replacement runs under the Red River, south of Winnipeg.
