Canadian Utilities Ltd., a subsidiary of ATCO Ltd., plans to build a $2 billion natural gas pipeline, Yellowhead Mainline, in Alberta, spanning 200 km to supply Dow Chemical's $9 billion net-zero emissions petrochemical project, Path2Zero. Construction starts in 2026 with operations set for the 4th quarter of 2027. The pipeline aims to create 2,000 jobs and contribute to Alberta's economic growth and energy security.
