A Donegal man, Glen Friel, set his sister's home on fire for money, then attacked a judge in court after being sentenced.

A Donegal man, Glen Friel, who admitted setting his sister's rented home on fire after she refused to give him money for drugs, had to be removed from court after attacking a judge who sent him to jail. Friel caused up to €80,000 damage to the house in Killybegs. After Judge Aylmer sentenced him to five years in prison with the final two years suspended, Friel erupted in court, shouting at the judge.
