47-year-old Edward Allan Eastwood, an Izard County Jail inmate facing multiple charges, escaped from his work detail at 5:20 a.m. on March 16. Authorities captured him around 2 p.m. on the same day. Eastwood's charges include theft of property, breaking or entering, fleeing in vehicle, fleeing on foot, aggravated assault, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
