60-year-old Carl "Butch" Hoopingarner of Cambridge has been charged with aggravated murder 34 years after Guernsey County authorities responded to a car fire in 1990. The initial investigation ruled 30-year-old James D. Bradley's death as natural due to massive body burns, but a recent investigation revealed the fire was not accidental. Hoopingarner is currently held at the Belmont County Jail.
