43-year-old Marchello Gildersleeve was found guilty by a Niagara County jury of second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon in the slaying of 35-year-old Daniella Patterson in December 2022. Gildersleeve shot Patterson while she sat defenseless in a car in Niagara Falls and continued firing as the car drove off. He faces a potential 40-years-to-life prison sentence.
