United Way's Rock The Boat Cardboard Boat Races return to southwest Michigan in July, featuring up to 75 teams racing cardboard boats made of cardboard and duct tape in the St. Joseph River. The popular event, which attracted thousands in 2019, was put on hold due to the pandemic in 2020. Teams interested in raising funds for United Way will receive instructions for their boat design upon registration.
