Wild bobcat BOB111 was injured during FWC's study of Feline leukomyelopathy (FLM) but received surgery with specialized plates and screws donated by Arthrex. After care at Naples Zoo, BOB111 was released back into the wild, highlighting the importance of research partnerships for Florida's wildlife. The FWC is currently investigating FLM, a neurological disorder affecting panthers and bobcats, with 75 confirmed cases in the state.
