The CPI-M-led Left Front in West Bengal has released its first list of candidates for 16 of the state's 42 Lok Sabha seats, with 14 new faces. The Left Front is still hopeful of reaching a seat-sharing agreement with Congress and other parties, leaving 26 seats open for negotiations. The Left Front currently features 13 nominees from CPM and one each from Forward Bloc, RSP, and CPI.
