Interlune, a Seattle-based startup founded by former Blue Origin executives and an Apollo astronaut, has raised $18M and is developing technology to mine Helium-3 from the moon. The rare isotope, abundant on the lunar surface, could be used as fuel in nuclear fusion reactors and support quantum computing. Interlune aims to become the first private company to extract resources from the moon and bring them back to Earth.
