Chinese scientists propose a magnetic launcher on the Moon for cost-effective lunar resource transport.

Chinese scientists propose a magnetic launcher on the Moon, leveraging its unique environment, to cost-effectively transport mined lunar resources, like helium-3, to Earth. The magnetic levitation facility could send payloads every 12 hours, at about 10% of current costs. The system, part of a Russian-Chinese project to build a lunar research station, is designed to last for 20 years.
