The gang, led by Shakir alias Guddu Haider Shaikh, had over 50 cases against them in four states and is suspected of stealing valuables worth over 1.5 crore. The gang operated across states by air and had a bungalow and a plot of land in Bangladesh where stolen goods were sold.
