Hyderabad Police busted an international smartphone theft and smuggling gang, apprehending 31 accused including a Sudanese national. 713 smartphones, an autorickshaw, two computers, and one laptop, totaling Rs 2 crore, were seized. The gang operated a major criminal network in the city involving cell phone theft offenders, receivers of stolen phones, and technicians who unlocked and tampered with stolen mobiles' IMEI numbers.
