Winnipeg's Forks Winter Park, part of Winnipeg 150, closed early due to warmer temperatures.

The Forks Winter Park in Winnipeg, a part of the Winnipeg 150 celebration, has closed for the season due to warmer temperatures. The park, which opened on December 22, featured the Canopy Rink, CN Stage Rink, and over a kilometer of on-land trails. The Nestaweya River Trail had its shortest season ever, being open for only nine days due to mild weather. Skating at The Forks will not resume until next winter.
