India grants 7th generation Indian-origin Mauritians OCI cards for ancestral land connection.

India has granted Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) cards to the 7th generation of Indian-origin Mauritians, allowing them to reconnect with their ancestral land. President Droupadi Murmu made the announcement during a state visit to Mauritius, also highlighting India's support for the redevelopment of the sacred Ganga Talao complex into a religious, cultural, and touristic hub.
