Baby Boomers are furious over a report suggesting they should pay more for their aged care to ease the burden on millennials, as the sector is predicted to cost taxpayers nearly $64bn by 2034. The aged care sector welcomes the report for offering a way to address the sustainability crisis, but concerns have been raised about creating a two-tiered system and whether the shrinking taxpayer base can afford to pay the entirety of people's care costs.
