UK house prices rose for a fifth consecutive month in February, increasing by 0.4% from January, according to Halifax. The average UK house price was £291,699, up £1,000 from the previous month. House prices grew by 1.7% annually, compared with 2.3% in the previous month. Property prices are now only around £1,800 off their peak in June 2022.
