The average UK house price fell by about £2,900 in March, according to Halifax, with the typical property value dropping by 1% month on month after a 0.3% rise in February. Property prices increased by 0.3% annually in March, slowing from an increase of 1.6% in February. This marks the first decrease since September and the first time in six months that house prices have fallen.
