NSW Planning Minister Paul Scully pledges to expedite approval of wind, solar, and battery projects, acknowledging NSW's lag behind other states in project approvals. Since the promise, 18 renewable energy projects have been approved, with 29 more in the planning stage and 20 more expected to be submitted to the department. Most of these are anticipated to be determined this year.
