The Essex County Fire and Rescue Service (ECFRS) has won the UK Fire and Rescue Service of the Year at the iese Ltd Public Sector Transformation Awards. The award recognises a fire service that excels in transforming service delivery. ECFRS, one of the UK's largest fire and rescue services, was awarded for its approach to increasing officer numbers and training, prevention, communication, and recruitment.
