7 months after the only Grand Rapids clinic closed, Planned Parenthood's Irwin/Martin Health Center has resumed offering procedural abortions due to Michigan's Reproductive Health Act. The act repealed state laws that previously prevented the clinic from providing the service in its current building. The Heritage Clinic for Women, the previous procedural abortion provider, closed last year after its doctor passed away.
