Kentucky Senate passes bill enabling parents to collect child support for unborn children; the bill, which gained bipartisan support, allows parents to retroactively seek child support up to a year after giving birth to cover pregnancy expenses. The legislation is similar to laws in at least six other U.S. states, such as Georgia, which allows child support to be sought back to conception.
