A 30-year-old Darrington woman admitted to killing her 5-year-old child and is now in jail.
A 30-year-old Darrington woman admitted to killing her 5-year-old child two weeks ago and is now in jail. Deputies arrived at the woman's home after she called 911 to report the crime. The woman told investigators her daughter had been dead since February 14th. Major Crimes Unit detectives investigated, and the woman was arrested for investigation of first-degree murder. The child's cause of death will be determined by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office.
