5-year-old Grayson O'Connor's mother, Corrinne O'Connor, pleaded not guilty to first-degree endangering the welfare of a child in connection with her son's death after he fell 17 stories from their Kansas City apartment. The Class A felony carries a maximum life sentence. The child's body was found on Nov. 27 in an alley near the Grand Boulevard Lofts, with the mother allegedly telling police that her son had gone out the window.
