China and Laos jointly arrested 268 suspects involved in telecom scams affecting Chinese citizens. The suspects, including 8 financiers and 54 criminal ring leaders, were implicated in over 1,570 cases across China. In a joint operation, the police forces raided criminal sites in Laos, capturing suspects and seizing over 2,400 mobile phones and computers used in the frauds.
