Health Canada has recalled two lots of APO-Mometasone nasal spray due to potential bacterial contamination with Burkholderia cepacia complex (Bcc), which can pose risks to vulnerable populations such as children, pregnant women, seniors, and those with chronic lung diseases or weakened immune systems. Users are advised to return the recalled sprays, marked with expiry dates in September or October 2025, to a local pharmacy for disposal.
