Health Canada has recalled two lots of APO-Mometasone nasal spray due to potential bacterial contamination. The affected sprays, with lot numbers TX5343 and TZ2586 and expiry dates of September and October 2025, may contain Burkholderia cepacia complex bacteria, which pose a risk to individuals with chronic lung diseases, weakened immune systems, pregnant individuals, seniors, and children. Health Canada advises those who have the recalled sprays to return them to a local pharmacy for proper disposal and to consult a healthcare provider if concerned due to product use.
