BCAS directs Indian airlines to deliver passenger baggage timely.

The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) in India has directed seven airlines, including Air India, IndiGo, SpiceJet, Vistara, AIX Connect, and Air India Express, to ensure that all passenger baggage is delivered within 30 minutes of a flight landing at an airport. The directive comes in response to delays in baggage delivery after flights have landed. BCAS is monitoring baggage arrivals at six major airports in India and will continue to monitor performance on a weekly basis.
