The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) in India has directed seven major airlines, including Air India, IndiGo, and SpiceJet, to ensure timely baggage delivery within 30 minutes after landing at airports. The airlines have been given ten days to implement the necessary measures and comply with the directive by February 26. The BCAS conducted a survey at six major airports and analyzed over 3,600 flight movements to assess baggage delivery processes.
