Canadian federal court judge orders PM Trudeau & Justice Minister to address judicial vacancies.

A federal court judge in Canada has ordered Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Justice Minister Arif Virani to address the issue of judicial vacancies in the country. The judge called the situation "untenable" and "appalling," with 75 vacancies currently existing. The government has been urged to reduce the number of vacancies to around 40. Meanwhile, South Africa has sought new action against Israel's military operations in Gaza at the International Court of Justice, citing concerns about civilian safety.
