Truck driver Richard Satchwell faces trial for wife Tina's murder, as authorities discovered her remains in their Youghal home in Oct 2017, months after she was reported missing in Mar 2017.

The Director of Public Prosecutions has directed that 57-year-old truck driver Richard Satchwell will stand trial at the Central Criminal Court for the murder of his wife Tina. Satchwell appeared before Clonmel District Court in Co Tipperary and has been charged with a single count of murder. The State will now have time to serve a book of evidence on Satchwell and his legal representatives. The date of the trial will be finalized within the next few months. Tina Satchwell was reported missing in March 2017, with her skeletal remains later discovered under a concrete floor and a walled-up area in her Youghal home in October last year.
