70-year-old dangerous sex offender, Richard Scatchard, missing for six months after police failed to arrest him when his girlfriend was found murdered in his home, has been found dead in a remote caravan in Watchet, Somerset. The body is believed to be Scatchard's, and police are treating the death as unexplained, with a forensic post-mortem planned. Scatchard was wanted on prison recall and in connection with the death of his partner, Kelly Faiers.
