Southeastern Conference announces annual revenue distribution to schools.

The Southeastern Conference (SEC) announced that it distributed an average of $51.3 million per member school for the 2022-23 fiscal year, marking an increase of $1.4 million from the previous year. The total revenue of $741 million was divided among the 14 member schools, including $718 million distributed by the league office and $23 million retained by schools for travel and other bowl-related expenses. The distribution includes revenue generated from television agreements, bowl games, the College Football Playoff, the SEC football championship, the SEC men's basketball tournament, NCAA championships, and a supplemental surplus distribution. This amount does not include $8.1 million in grants from the NCAA and SEC, which were also divided among the 14 schools.
