Ratan Tata's planned Tata Trusts Small Animal hospital, one of India's largest, to be inaugurated next month in a central Mumbai location to benefit pet owners.

Ratan Tata, chairman emeritus of Tata Sons and a well-known philanthropist, will inaugurate the Tata Trusts Small Animal Hospital, one of India's largest, in Mumbai next month. The hospital, which offers advanced medical care for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals 24/7, was built at a cost of Rs 165 crore and spans 2.2 acres. Ratan Tata has a long-standing affinity for animals, and the new facility has partnered with five UK veterinary schools for training. The hospital aims to contribute significantly to improving animal welfare in India.
