Therapy pony George visited Medway NHS Foundation Trust's Sheppey Frailty Unit to cheer up patients, organized by 'George And Friends Animal Therapies'.

A miniature therapy pony named George visited the Sheppey Frailty Unit of Medway NHS Foundation Trust in Kent to bring joy to patients in their sick beds. The visit was organized by Faversham-based organization 'George And Friends Animal Therapies', run by former NHS worker Michelle Burney. Therapy animals like George have been shown to improve people's wellbeing and mental health. The visit was made possible by The Medway Hospital Charity and follows the introduction of regular therapy dog sessions at the facility.
