A 3.3 magnitude earthquake shook the Isle of Mull in Scotland on Monday at 7:30 pm, according to the British Geological Survey (BGS). The quake's epicenter was located in the northwest of the island near the village of Dervaig and was felt on the island, surrounding islands, and the mainland, primarily within a 50 km radius. Residents described their experiences, including homes creaking, windows and doors rattling, and a sofa vibrating. This event followed two smaller earthquakes earlier in the day, with a 2.3 magnitude quake in Moidart in the Highlands and a 1.1 magnitude quake in Morvern, also in the Highlands.
