South Korea's Yu wins top award at Gerardmer festival for 'Sleep'.

South Korean filmmaker Jason Yu has won the prestigious Gerardmer International Fantastic Film Festival Grand Prix for his first feature-length film, "Sleep," a comedy horror about a young couple dealing with the husband's nightmarish sleepwalking habits. Other winners at the festival, which focuses on films from the fantasy, science fiction, and horror genres, include Gabriel Abrantes' "Amelia's Children" for the Jury Prize, Celine Rouzet's "En Attendant la Nuit" for the Short Film Grand Prize, Demian Rugna's "When Evil Lurks" for the Critics' Prize and Audience Award, and Barnaby Clay's "The Seeding" for the Great East Region Youth Jury Award.
