Between 2019-22, 8 Dorset & Wiltshire fire service employees were investigated for sexual offences, 4 convicted, 2 dismissals, 2 still employed (FOI request).

Newly uncovered data reveals that between 2019 and 2022, eight employees at Dorset and Wiltshire fire service were reported to or investigated by police for alleged sexual offences. Out of these, four were found guilty. Two remain employed in the service as of March 8, 2023, while the other two were dismissed. The findings, obtained through a Freedom of Information request, did not specify the locations of these offences, but the service stated they fully investigated employee behaviour regardless of when or where it occurred.
