Azurity Pharmaceuticals recalls one Zenzedi lot due to mislabeled package containing antihistamines instead of ADHD medication.
Azurity Pharmaceuticals has recalled one lot of its ADHD medication, Zenzedi, due to a mislabeled package. The incorrect package contained Carbinoxamine Maleate tablets, an antihistamine drug, instead of Zenzedi CII (dextroamphetamine sulfate tablets, USP) 30 milligrams. The affected lot was shipped to wholesalers between August 23 and November 29, 2023. The company launched an investigation after a pharmacist in Nebraska reported finding the wrong tablets in a bottle of Zenzedi.
