Tencent's Riot Games trims 11% of the global workforce.
Riot Games, a Los Angeles-based online gaming company, has announced plans to cut 530 jobs, constituting about 11% of its global workforce. The company, which focuses on live games like League of Legends, Valorant, Teamfight Tactics, and Wild Rift, is the latest to announce job cuts in the gaming industry, following Amazon, TikTok owner ByteDance, Epic Games, Ubisoft, and Pokemon Go creator Niantic.
