Relations between Iran and Pakistan may be strained as a result of Iran's alleged attacks on two locations in Pakistan that were used as the bases of a militant group, which led to the reported deaths of two children and injuries of three more.
Iran claimed to have launched precision missile and drone strikes against two supposed bases linked to Jaish al-Adl, a Sunni militant group, in Pakistan's Balochistan province on Tuesday. The region of Kouh-Sabz is reported to be a major hub for the Jeysh al-Adl militants. There has not been an official confirmation from Pakistan regarding the attacks; however, two children were claimed to have been killed and three others injured.
