Iranian forces reportedly killed Jaish al-Adl militant group commander Ismail Shahbakhsh and some of his associates in Pakistan territory, following escalating tensions between the two countries. The Iranian government designates Jaish al-Adl as a terrorist group and accuses it of orchestrating numerous attacks within Iran. The latest attack by Iran on Pakistan's border led to retaliatory measures from Pakistan.
