India launches EFTA desk to enhance trade and investment under the new TEPA agreement.

India has set up an EFTA desk to boost trade and investment with Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland under their Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA). The desk will offer support to EFTA companies entering India, including market insights and regulatory guidance. The TEPA, expected to be effective by year-end, has garnered a $100 billion investment commitment from the EFTA nations. The inauguration, led by Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, includes a business roundtable with over 100 companies from both regions.
