Nigeria's First Lady pledges support to fight human trafficking, calling it a "get-rich-quick syndrome" issue.

Nigeria's First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has pledged support to NAPTIP in the fight against human trafficking, which she links to the "get-rich-quick syndrome" fueled by social media and religious institutions. Tinubu urged youths to avoid traffickers and embrace hard work, promising to work with state governors' wives to raise awareness. NAPTIP's director-general highlighted that trafficking is the second-largest transnational crime, after drug trafficking, and called for more resources and legal support.
