Nine associates of Nigerian singer Portable were charged for assaulting officials after his unauthorized building was sealed.

Nine associates of Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, were charged in court for allegedly assaulting officials from the Ota Zonal Planning office. The attack followed the sealing of Portable's uncompleted building and hotel for illegal development. Portable claims the government's action led to the arrest of over 20 people and the confiscation of vehicles and phones. The suspects were granted bail and the case is adjourned to March 17.
