Lagos court remands Koko-Zaria leader for alleged assault and conspiracy against Nollywood actor Baba Lawori.
Ganiyu Oyedepo, known as Koko-Zaria, a leader in Nigeria's National Union of Road Transport Workers, has been remanded in custody by a Lagos court after being charged with conspiracy and assault against Nollywood actor Alhaji Ade Adele (Baba Lawori). The incident occurred on June 5, 2024. Oyedepo pleaded not guilty and was granted bail set at N2 million, pending the fulfillment of specific conditions. The case is set for a hearing on October 29, 2024.
