Victoria's SES units rescue an injured hiker at Grampians National Park on Australia Day.

On Australia Day, the Victorian State Emergency Service units in Stawell and Ararat assisted in rescuing an injured hiker at Chatauqua Peak near Halls Gap. This rescue marks the third since tourists returned to Grampians National Park following December's bushfires. Previous rescues occurred at Fish Falls and MacKenzie Falls. The SES Stawell unit advised hikers to stay hydrated and take their time amid the hot weather.
