Two French cyclists got lost in India due to Google Maps error, were helped by villagers.

Two French cyclists, traveling from Delhi to Kathmandu, got lost near Bareilly, India, after Google Maps directed them off course. Villagers found them cycling at night and alerted the police. The cyclists were lodged at the village headman's house and given correct route instructions the next day to continue their journey to Nepal.
