Libya's rival eastern and western governments have agreed to create a joint center for communication and border security to combat terrorism and manage migration. This initiative, discussed during a two-day meeting, also includes plans for a strategic studies center to enhance border management and inter-institutional communication. Since 2011, Libya has been split between the parliament-backed eastern government and the Presidential Council-supported western government in Tripoli.
