Ghana's President appoints new Acting Director-General for National Road Safety Authority.

The President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has appointed Abraham Amaliba as the Acting Director-General of the National Road Safety Authority, effective January 23, 2025. Amaliba, currently the Director of Conflict Resolution for the National Democratic Congress, was appointed under the Constitution and the National Road Safety Authority Act. The appointment is pending approval from the governing board and the Public Services Commission.
